Hitler Survivor Details The Similarities Under Hitler And Obama-MUST SEE VIDEO!

When Katie Worthman was a little girl in Austria, she witnessed firsthand Adolph Hitler’s rise to power and the Soviet communist occupation that followed.  She also witnessed, for decades, the distortions of the media when it came to the reporting of the events.
 
From her eyewitness perspective, Worthman said that the whole thing didn’t happen overnight, in a brutal attack, like the media portrays it, but rather, it evolved into a dictatorship gradually, over a period of a few years.  Hitler didn’t come across as someone evil, to be feared, initially.  ”In the beginning, Hitler didn’t look like, or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician.”

Here are some things that occurred in Austria, according to Worthman, that just might look familiar to Americans:

• Hitler was elected with 98% of the vote.
• Hitler destroyed the existing medical system when he brought a national healthcare plan into being.
• First, people were forced to register their guns to cut down on crime.
• Then they were forced to turn them in or risk capital punishment for keeping them.

Worthman’s eyewitness account is eerily reminiscent of what we can see going on in the United States today.

“In 1938, the media reported that Hitler rode into Austria with tanks and guns and took us over. Not true at all,” she says. “The Austrian people elected Hitler by 98% of the vote by means of the ballot box. Now you might ask how could a Christian nation… elect a monster like Hitler. The truth is at the beginning Hitler didn’t look like or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician.

“We also had gun registration. All the Austrian people… had guns. But the government said, ‘the guns are very dangerous. Children are playing with guns. Hunting accidents happen and we really have to have total controlled safety. And we had criminals again. And the only way that we can trace the criminal was by the serial number of the gun.’

“So we dutifully went to the police station and we registered our guns. Not long after they said, ‘No, it didn’t help. The only way that we won’t have accidents and crimes [is] you bring the guns to the police station and then we don’t have any crimes anymore and any accidents. And if you don’t do that: capital punishment.’

"So that’s what we did. So dictatorship didn’t happen overnight. It took five years. Gradually, little by little to escalate up to a dictatorship.

“When the people fear the government, that’s tyranny. But when the government fears the people… that’s liberty. Keep your guns. Keep your guns and buy more guns.”

Austrian citizen Kitty Werthmann, an eyewitness to Anschluss, Hitler's annexation of Austria, confounds recent efforts by gun control advocates to re-write history, by re-affirming that the Nazis did indeed confiscate guns belonging to ordinary citizens.

"The only way we can prevent accidents and crimes is for you to turn-in your guns at the police station, and then we won't have any crimes or any accidents. If you didn't turn in your guns -- capital punishment. So we turned in our guns."

Krugman: Yeah, middle class taxes and death panels are on the way

Before Obamacare passed, Paul Krugman and many of his peers mocked anyone who suggested death panels and middle class tax hikes were coming if Obamacare passed. Death panels were even called lie of the year by fact checeking site Politisham. Now that it’s passed, the tune seems to have changed by about 180 degrees.

This is a chilling admission by one of the biggest Liberals around - Paul Krugman. He spoke at a church earlier in the week and admitted that death panels and a value added tax will be needed to pay for rising health care costs, Obamacare and the Entitlement State. Transcript below since it is hard to hear even though I upped the audio as much as possible in Premiere.

Eventually we do have a problem. That the population is getting older, health care costs are rising... there is this question of how we're going to pay for the programs. The year 2025, the year 2030, something is going to have to give... We're going to need more revenue... Surely it will require some sort of middle class taxes as well.. We won't be able to pay for the kind of government the society we want without some increase in taxes... on the middle class, maybe a value added tax... And we're also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits. So the snarky version... which I shouldn't even say because it will get me in trouble, is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this.

HARKIN SUGGESTS HE MAY REINTRODUCE CLOTURE REFORM!!!

 Update: Harkin Suggests He May Reintroduce Cloture Reform


Last week, SEIU launched a petition to Sen. Joe Lieberman pushing back on his plans to filibuster health insurance reform. The petition points to the year 1995, when Sen. Joe Lieberman co-sponsored legislation with Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) to abolish the filibuster. In January of 1995, Lieberman spent weeks making a case to the American people that the filibuster was being abused - that it was nothing more than a tool for obstructing democracy. So far, nearly 10,000 people have signed on to urge Sen. Lieberman to heed the words of his former Senate self, and quit threatening to filibuster health insurance reform.


Well, people are taking notice. Sen. Tom Harkin told reporters this weekend that he's considering re-introducing the same legislation he co-sponsored with Lieberman in 1995. The bill would reform the cloture vote, making it impossible for Joe to get away with precisely what he's doing right now - holding health insurance reform hostage for his own political gain.


Sen. Harkin told the Hawk Eye:


I think, if anything, this health care debate is showing the dangers of unlimited filibuster," Harkin said Thursday during a conference call with reporters. "I think there's a reason for slowing things down ... and getting the public aware of what's happening and maybe even to change public sentiment, but not to just absolutely stop something."


As the Huffington Post notes, under Harkin's measure, a debate could be prolonged by the minority, but not forever.


"You could hold something up for maybe a month, but then, finally you'd come down to 51 votes and a majority would be able to pass," Harkin said. "I may revive that. I pushed it very hard at one time and then things kind of got a little better."


Sen. Harkin confirmed what others have suggested - that the modern-day filibuster is not used as it was originally intended.


"Today, in the age of instant news and Internet and rapid travel -- you can get from anywhere to here within a day or a few hours -- the initial reasons for the filibuster kind of fall by the wayside, and now it's got into an abusive situation," Harkin said.


He and the constitutional scholars agree that the intention was never to hold up legislation entirely.
